The history of Bi Luo Chun can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty, and it was first planted by farmers in the Wuzhong area. It is said that its name comes from the spring of Biluo Peak in Suzhou, where the new buds of the tea tree are as green as snails, hence the name “Biluochun”. After centuries of development, this tea gradually became a tribute tea, loved by royalty and nobility.
